This design decorated the Imperial train from the Meiji period to the Syowa period (about 1870-1980). This is one of the finest patterns in Ako-dantsu rugs, and we can express this pattern because we do a process known as “trimming the line”. Vines and waves grow continuously, so they are used to represent family prosperity. （188cm x 94cm）
